week #11 2025

Hi, I’m Martha Alex a vlogger who loves capturing life through my camera. My videos tell a story, but I’ve learned that writing can share a different kind of magic. That’s why I started this blog.

Here, I’m posting every week about my daily life, personal thoughts, behind-the-scenes moments, and little details that don’t always make it into my vlogs and the fantastic 4k weeks calendar i am using and enjoying my life.

Whether you’re looking for inspiration, are just curious, or simply enjoy following real-life stories, you’re welcome here. Let’s share this journey together, the ups, the downs, and everything in between, one day at a time.

Day 1: A Memorable Day in Richmond, Virginia 🌸

The day yesterday in Richmond, Virginia, will not be forgotten. This is a preview of the highlights:

  • I was so honored to have been interviewed on the inspiring topic of the day, The Life Behind Living and that was at the magnificent Altria Theatre.
  • There were 4,500 fanatic, enthusiastic people in the theatre, and the atmosphere was electric and uplifting.
  • Warm Introductions- a very sincere thanks to the Executive Director, Heather Mullins Crislip, and Ms. Lynn White, who so kindly introduced me on stage.
  • There was a deep and even inspiring discussion led in a magnificent way via an interactive question-answer session with the crowd, which I absolutely admired to respond to various significant questions.
  • My wonderful producer, Heather Kirkland, and I went in the afternoon to visit some of the beautiful homes and beautiful gardens in Richmond. Lovely!
  • One more thank you to the high school youth whose questions show you are bright and caring. And how you impressed!
  • Richmond – thank you so much for your hospitality and the atmospheric generosity and energy. I shall never forget this day!

Day 2: Painting (Sketch)🎨

I have visited an exhibition of John Singer Sargent and Fashion, and it was a great, fascinating experience. Out of all the art, the two paintings were the most outstanding; both of them were seen at the Met Museum:

  • An unfinished sketch that looks uncivilized but expressive, depicting a piece of fabric that falls off the shoulder of the girl.
  • Such a daring depiction was controversial and even received criticism on the part of the viewers at the time.
  • The sketch informed on his fearless style of art and how Sargent was ready to criticize the norms of society.
  • In the final version of the artwork, the girl is depicted in two feminine layers of the dress that are appropriately brought to the shoulders.
  • The audience embraced this version and welcomed it.
  • It was Sargent successfully adapting to making milder what had been his earlier, more ambitious conception.
  • By using both of these paintings, Sargent portrayed his amazing skill of influencing the audience’s mentality and manipulating the viewers to accept his artistic decisions.

Day 3: Summer Bliss at the Farmhouse🌞

It is summertime and the time of ripeness and fresh odors of green. Isn’t it time that many of our prized trees are laden with their sweet provisions–pears, and mangoes, in particular like hot weather very much.

And these are a few of my quiet farm hours:

  • There are trees that I am strongly bonded with on my farm. I feel happy to be with them and to belong to them.
  • I also work closely with my workforce, a group of dedicated employees on the farms, and I provide my expertise and also the reward of growing nature.
  • A certain peace I get when I sell the fruits of my own land. The business is not only business but also soul therapy.
  • Mangoes taste and grow best in summer when they become sun-ripened, golden, juicy fruits.
  • All my visits to my farmhouse are filled with the sweet smell of various kinds of fruit trees.
  • The young scent of the orchards makes my mind rejuvenated and my heart full of calm.

day 4: A few moments that filled my heart with joy

  • I have seen myself on Netflix: a moment that I will never forget because it makes me emotional.
  • When I first heard it, I could not believe it, but when I knew it was actually me, I was so happy.
  • There is a documentary that has been filed regarding my life, containing:
  • The battles and successes I had,
  • The difficulties I did,
  • The path taken has made me what I am today.
  • It has been beyond a miracle, and I am so glad my story is shared in the world.

Day 5: Life on My Farm – A Serene Paradise🌸

  • At my farm, there are numerous lovely cherry-tree branches, their branches laden with all those pink blossoms. They put sweet fruits into our mouths in summer, and endow them with natural beauty too.
  • At the edge of the cherry trees, I have constructed cosy chicken coops. The hens produce fresh eggs every day, and they cluck loudly because they are all lively. With their little paws, they joyously dig about and are constantly active in their little world.
  • The cherry trees blooming as well as the hens being busy, add up to a beautiful atmosphere. I am so happy and blessed to have them here with me I really thank God for this beautiful piece of land.

Day 6: Growth Street in the West Village👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

On the West Village at Growth Street, a new and lively place will rise, vibrating with excitement- Via Crota Village! I have been there recently, with my friends, and the experience was great. This is what is special about it:

  • Via Crota Village is the newer fabric that is developed in the West Village and gives new vitality and lustre to Growth Street.
  • A couple of years later, Professional chef Jodi Williams who is well known and has her partner Chef Reta Sodi established this village through enthusiasm and ingenuity.
  • The village also keeps expanding where there are additional restaurants beingadded and bringing liveliness to it.
  • Travelers all over the world visit this place to taste the tasty cuisine and lively atmosphere and they actually adore it!

Day 7: Spring Weather and Vegetable Growth 🌿

When the weather is fresh in spring, the vegetables become rich in the nutrients offered by nature. In this season:

  • Others are already trellised and growing and ready to yield new and green vegetables.
  • Some are yet to reach maturity, and you should afford them more time.
  • Spinach, radishes, carrots, and other herbs are some of the early bloomers and are faring exceptionally well. I am also eager to grow many new varieties that have already started sprouting and look really promising to provide a rich harvest.
  • Spring really offers the optimum conditions for the development of healthy and tasty vegetables.
