Hey everyone! I’m Martha Alex, and I’m so glad you’re here.
Most of you might already know me as a vlogger. I’ve been creating content and sharing glimpses of my life through videos for quite some time now. It’s been an incredible journey connecting with people all over the world through visual storytelling. But recently, I’ve decided to take things a step further by starting a blog to reach even more of you, especially those who enjoy reading and diving into written stories.
From now on, I’ll be posting weekly blogs where I’ll talk about my daily routine, thoughts, experiences, and little moments that don’t always make it into my vlogs. Whether it’s a behind-the-scenes look at a filming day, reflections on life, or just cozy morning routines, I want to create a space where we can connect in a more personal and thoughtful way.
Day 1:
It was an amazing sight. Because every woman wore awesome outfits that defy description. Patterns clashed, colors mixed, and fabrics flowed in amazing ways. It was a beautiful kind of chaos. Watching them, I couldn’t help but appreciate the confidence that came with such a display, each person embracing their unique sense of style.
Day 2:
It was a winter day, but I always work in the garden, either in winter or summer. Today I spent the whole day cutting the old bushes of blueberries for new ones. There is always work to be done. There’s something deeply satisfying about this task—each snip and trim is a promise of future abundance. The air was cold, and my hands were cold, but I was excited to keep working continuously, and I felt very proud.
Day 3:
On many cold days outside, my vegetables are at various stages of growth. which contain spinach, lettuce, eggplants, and ladyfingers. They are all growing in sunlight, and my greenhouse looks so beautiful. I care a lot about my greenhouse. Something is grounding about tending to plants with my patience and care; they will flourish in return.
Day 4:
Today I made a very simple lunch. It contained vegetables, green leaves, etc., from my greenhouse. The hot bowl of vegetable soup was for my healthy body and nutrition. The soup was rich and tasty. I was feeling the smell of my vegetables from my greenhouse in the bowl. I feel fresh when I have lunch like this. I feel healthy.
Day 5:
Today I spent my whole time cutting the timber, and the timber smelled very good in the fresh air. I worked on shaping rafter tails for an upcoming pergola project. I cut the timber and measured it to my design. This is beautiful art, which demands both preciousness and creativity, and today I felt very peaceful when I woodworked with my own hands.
Day 6:
Today I went to visit my favorite vegetable, “eggplant.” Eggplants always attracted me in Greenland. There are many kinds of eggplants available in the market, and they have lots of benefits. I always use it in winter when I feel mucus in my throat. Every year, I try to grow many kinds of eggplants on my land. Eggplants grow in different shapes, some round, slender, and long, and their color is purple and white. I learn from the land, and I feel very proud.
Day 7:
Today I desired to see the Skeleton Coast by helicopter. I met my friend and went to my helicopter. We were very excited, and in some moments we were flying very high and watching the whole sea and desert. I spent 3 hours in the air. The scenery was amazing and beautiful. We were having so much fun. I feel different when high. It was an outstanding day, which I will not forget.
