Hello, everyone! My name is Martha Alex, and I’m excited to welcome you to a new chapter in my journey. As many of you already know, I’ve been working as a vlogger for quite some time, sharing my life, thoughts, travels, and everyday moments through video. It’s been an amazing way to connect with a vibrant community of viewers who enjoy the visual storytelling format.
But recently, I felt a strong desire to explore a different form of expression. one that allows for more depth, reflection, and detail. That’s why I’ve decided to start this blog where I’ll be documenting my weekly activities, thoughts, behind-the-scenes stories, and all the little things that don’t always make it into my videos. I believe writing adds a unique personal touch, and I’m hoping to connect with readers who enjoy following life through words as much as visuals.
Day 1
Today, I was with Chad Davis, the president of the conservatories. I had to spend some time in Longwood’s stunning conservatory and its many indoor botanical displays. I had dinner some time ago; it was great, which I spent.
Day 2
Here I start the day with my new channel, where I will tell you short content about home, farm tips, and entertainment plans, just on my TV channel, “PLUTO,” making it easier for audiences to enjoy. Where people will look to update your farmhouse, garden, and much more.
Day 3
An apple tree is a deciduous tree, so I have many apple trees in my farmland that produce sweet, edible fruits every year. Apple trees bloom in spring with beautiful white or pink flowers, and the fruits are harvested in late summer or autumn. They are not only valued for their fruit but also for their beauty and shade. Apple trees require proper care and hard work.
Day 4
Chionodoxa, also known as Glory of the Snow, is a small spring-flowering bulb that appears in clusters. These plants grow every year in the thousands. This process is called naturalizing—using specific bulbs that self-seed and spread over time.
Day 5
This is the historic Blue Mosque in Istanbul, Turkey. It is officially named the Sultan Ahmed Mosque and was constructed between 1609 and 1617. It is called the “Blue Mosque because of the blue tiles that adorn its interior walls. It has a large dome, six minarets, and a big courtyard. I visited the mosque and spent quiet time there.
Day 6
We had a visit to an enchanted forest in Millbrook on Friday afternoon with my friends. I talked with many snowflakes, and in an abandoned woodland of an old estate, I saw amazing sights hidden from view but enjoyed by those who are fortunate enough to be invited to see them! Thank you; I am grateful to you, and best of luck with your new Bakers Island products, lovingly created in Millbrook!
Day 7
I am with master carpenter Dmitri Logvinski of Logvinski Carpentry. He just finished restoring the long and winding pergola at my farm. Over the past several weeks, he carefully measured and cut every beam and rafter, meticulously straightened every granite post, and checked every angle to make sure all the elements were positioned and secured properly. All the beams and crosspieces were primed and painted by Fernando Ferrari and Pete Sherpa.
