week #9 2025

Welcome to My World!
Hi there! I’m Martha Alex, a passionate vlogger who’s spent years capturing life through the lens. From filming everyday adventures to creating meaningful content, vlogging has been my creative outlet and connection to people around the world.

Now, I’m adding a new chapter to this journey by sharing my weekly experiences in written form right here on my blog. Whether it’s behind-the-scenes stories, personal reflections, or the highlights that didn’t make it into my videos, this space is for all of you who love reading just as much as watching.

So stay tuned, because every week I’ll be posting fresh updates giving you a closer, more personal look at my routine, my thoughts, and the life I live as a content creator.

Day 1

Dear talented philanthropic genius Elaine Wynn, who passes away tomorrow, please rest in peace. You were always so kind to me and my team whenever we worked in Las Vegas at the Wynn and the Bellagio—my deepest condolences to your family.

Day 2

Last night, Gagosian and its owner, Larry Gagosian, celebrated the April 19 birthday of the inimitable Paloma Picasso with a spectacular exhibition of a select number of canvases, many of which were owned by the guest of honor. It was also Larry’s birthday, and he is celebrating his 80th this week. Earlier this week, he opened a show at his Chelsea gallery with fabulous paintings by de Kooning. Happy birthday to two amazing art world figureheads!

Day 3

After the Gagosian Picasso party, we went to 11th Ave. to the new and fabulous Benz salon, where new models are displayed and introduced to customers. I love driving my MB EQS fully electric sedan.

Day 4

The day before Easter Sunday! These are the molds we used to bake cakes and the cutters we used to cut sugar cookies. Today we decorate all the cakes. Granddaughter Jude and friend Jade are coming to help!! I have a good collection of cake molds, old and newish; most were made by the fine old American company.

Day 5

Easter guests have just left. The food was delicious!!! Kielbasa, black and buckwheat blini, champagne and lemon drops, baked glazed ham, leg of lamb, baby lamb chops, mister, mint jelly, white currant jelly, mister spear asparagus and giant globe artichokes, scalloped potatoes, spinach Easter pie, perfect spring vegetables, biscuits, and various Easter cakes.

Day 6

Ryan Murphy dropped in with his two kids, who joined my Easter egg hunt! It was an exciting hunt with special prizes for the kids who found the gold and silver eggs!!! Logan got a silver!!!

Day 7

The beautiful and highly fragrant hybrid tea rose named after me will soon bloom. A bed of bare-root specimens was planted there last week. When in bloom, each flower will have more than 100 large pink petals and a sweet scent with notes of citrus and honeysuckle.
